Outdoors
Fresh game was a necessity of life during the time
of the pioneers and frontiersmen. Families counted on the
game to provide fresh meat for their families. It was a matter
of survival. Some meat could be provided from their own flocks
or herds, but those had to be protected. Coyotes and wolves would
prey upon their stock. The government would hire trappers to take
care of those animals that attacked the local ranchers' and farmers'
stock. You will find here those that were Government Trappers
and those that took the wild game that God provided to
sustain their families.
