ROUNDUP – Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Francis Knapp, 63, wife of Edgar E. Knapp of Melstone, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Congregational Church, Melstone, with the Rev. Edward Horst officiating.
Mrs. Knapp was killed Tuesday night in a car accident south of Melstone. Graveside services and burial will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Jordan Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 16, 1905 at Gilt Edge, Mont., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Phipps, and reared at Jordan. She was married Oct. 15, 1927, at Billings.
They ranched near Melstone after 1929. She was a member of Melstone Congregational Church.
Survivors include the widower; two sons, Richard of Livingston, Roger of Belfry; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Coulter of Brusett, Mrs. James Ryan of Jordan, 15 grandchildren, a half-brother, W. G. Allen, and a half-sister, Mrs. Edith Cole, both of Park City.
