Funeral services for James E. Brannin were held Wednesday, March 28 at the Congregational Church with Pastor Martin Siebert officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery with American Legion Post #19 conducting the gravesite rites.

Casket bearers were Borddie Green, Kermit Anderson, Max Officer, Arne Hoem, Byron Grosfield and Lemert Viers. Honorary bearers were all of his friends.

Organist was Joanne Stief and soloist was David Roys. The selections were "Abide With Me" and "How Great Thou Art."
