Mrs. Knapp Dies At Brooks
Mrs. Florence McNeil Knapp, 90, widow of Mr. Charles D. Knapp, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. A. Spaller near Brooks Sunday night at 8 o'clock.
Her death followed a lengthy illness.
A native of Ohio, Mrs. Knapp made her home most of her life at Big Timber, Mont. Her husband died there in 1947.
She had been in Georgia for nine years and had divided her time between her two daughters.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. H. A. Spaller of Brooks and Mrs. Charles Sherod of Covington; four sons, B. B. Knapp of McDonough, Fred Knapp of Filer, Idaho, Edgar Knapp of Melstone, Mont. and Frank Knapp of Big Fork, Mont.; one brother, Grant Robinson of Big Fork, Mont.; 21 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Halsten's Chapel. The Rev. Robert Ward and the Rev. Robert Partridge will officiate.
Following the services here, Mrs. Knapp's body will be sent to Big Timber, Mont., for burial.
