David Wilbert Aldridge was born near Reed City, Michigan, November 10, 1895 and
departed this life October 5, 1943, at the age of 47 years, 10 months & 25 days at his home in
Detroit.
On October 15, 1919, he was united in marriage to Eliza Muxlow. After their marriage,
they made their home on a farm southwest of Brown City and 23 years ago they moved to Detroit
where they have since resided.
Mr. Aldridge was called home after a year of untold pain and suffering.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Eliza; one son Ronald; two daughters Sara Beth and
Marajane, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Ware and Mrs. Ida Wright, both of Detroit;
other relatives and a host of friends.
He was a faithful member and worker of the Temple Baptist church.
Services were held at the Harvy Nuley Home in Detroit Thursday at 8 PM and from the R.
F. Carman Funeral Home at Brown City on Friday at 2 PM. Mr. Aldridge was laid to rest in the
Evergreen Cemetery to await the resurrection morning.
