For Mrs. Lulu Cody of Route 2
Funeral services for Lula M. Cody, age 70, were held at the Kent Funeral Home Tuesday, May 11, with Elder N. F. Pease of Auburn officiating. Mrs. Cody passed away in Seattle Saturday, May 8, after an illness of several years. She resided with her son at Route 2, Kent.
Lulu M. Cody was born April 9, 1873, at Lansing, Michigan. She has made her home in the district for ten years, coming here from northern Idaho.
She is survived by two sons, John J. Cody and George Cody, both of Kent; two daughters, Mrs. Percy A. York, Colville, Washington, and Mrs. B. B. Knapp, Big Timber, Montana. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Emma Madigan of Careywood, Idaho, and seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Interment was at the Kent cemetery.
