Men of Legend
The Brannin families and the
Knapp/McNeil families helped to tame the west,
if that is possible. Both families traveled through
the wild west when transportation was by horse
or mule. They had many adventures. Their stories
have been passed down through the generations.
They needed to bring a little culture to the wild west, too,
so they shipped in Robert Ward from England. He would
teach them to take tea and to eat peas with a knife.
