I William Threlkeld of parish of Brunswick in county of King George .. give to my loving son James Threlkeld a Negro man; to my loving son William Threlkeld one Negro woman; if the said Negro Cate bears a child that my daughter Elizabeth Humphry have it but if no child all my children bare a equal part to rase the sum of Twenty five pounds current money to be paid to my daughter Elizabeth humphry; to my loving son George Threlkeld a Negro boy; to my loving son John Threlkeld a Negro boy; to my loving son Benjamin Threlkeld one Negro boy; to my son Stephen Threlkeld on Negro boy; to my daughter Sukey Bell a Negro girl; to my loving wife Ruth Threlkeld one sorrel mare (houshold items), the Great Bible .. all my children shall pay her Three pounds each yearly for her support .. to my granddaughter Jemima Humphry a cow and calf .. appoint my sons James, William, George and John Threlkeld Executors .. this January 17th 1766.
