Brewin Aldridge was born *June 21, 1860 and died January 8, 1920, at 11:50 PM at the home
of his daughter, Mrs. H. J. Wright, at 2253 Central Avenue, Detroit.
He was born in Thedford, Ontario and came to Michigan when 18 years of age. He was united
in marriage to Emma Shay in Reed City, 39 years ago. Three children were born to them: Ida,
Mrs. H. J. Wright, of Detroit; Blanche, Mrs. William Ware, of Highland Park, Michigan; and
Wilbert, at home.
Besides the family, he leaves to mourn his demise his aged father of Thedford and four
brothers: Seth, of Cumberland, Maryland; Asa of Waco, Texas; Frank of Thedford; and Wilbert of
Riverton, Wyoming; and a host of friends.
He had been failing in health the past five years but was a patient sufferer.
He was a member of the A.O.O.G. for more than 17 years.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at the Methodist Episcopal Church.
Rev. S. W. F. Garnett officiating. Funeral Director W. R. Elliott had charge of the service.
Interment in Brown City Cemetery.
