August 12, 1894
My dear wife, I have just arrived and I am really tired but all rite. I will start for helana tomorrow morning. This city has grown so large that I am in the largest hotel. I heard from peple at ratoon. Thaire all well. I will stop and see them when I come back. I hope you all air getting loong all rite. I have so mutch to tell that now use tring to write for I cold (couldn’t) in a month. I hope this will find you all well. I remaine your ever loving husband.
